The competition is back! We are excited for you to join us for the 13th Battle of the Brains on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the stunning Carlu in Toronto.
Building on the heart and energy of last year’s sold-out success, this evening promises an intense battle of knowledge, brain power, and rapid-fire thinking. You’ll enjoy a cocktail reception followed by a gourmet dinner while going head-to-head against Toronto’s most prominent firms. The ultimate goal? Taking home the coveted Battle Cup!
Most importantly, your participation continues to make a world of difference. Proceeds from the night will fund educational school trips for children in lower-income and remote areas across Canada. These trips help build confidence, cultivate curiosity, and unlock the full potential of thousands of students by getting them into museums, galleries, and science centres.

The Game
Battle of the Brains is a 40-question, multiple-choice trivia game featuring 10 themed rounds, 4 questions in each round. Each table works together as a team of 10, with one player responsible for submitting answers on their phone. (be sure to bring a charged phone!)
Scoring is based on speed, the faster you submit the correct answer, the higher your score.
Each Round:
- Questions 1 – 3: up to 100 points
- Question 4: up to 250 points
- Final Round: up to 250 points per question
Answers:
- Correct: earn points
- Wrong: –1/5th of question value
- No answer: 0 points
Brain Cells (Bonus Points)
Boost your score while supporting a great cause.
Each team receives one FREE Brain Cell and can purchase up to six more for $200 each. If all 45 teams purchase all their Brain Cells, Daytrippers raises an additional $54,000!
What They Do
Your team can play a Brain Cell before the question is asked, and if they’re right, they earn bonus points equal to that question’s value.
The Rewards
- 100-point question: Earn regular points + 100 Bonus Points
- 250-point question: Earn regular points + 250 Bonus Points (best time to play!)
- Wrong Answer? No additional penalty.
Teams can purchase Brain Cells from their team’s Brain Master on the night of the event.

For one night, Toronto’s brightest and most competitive professionals face off in a high-stakes trivia showdown, tackling tough questions on everything from viral TikTok trends to iconic throwback hits. (In past years, challenges have even included identifying a ‘mystery spice’ using only the sense of smell!).
Proceeds from the event will provide children in lower-income and far-reaching areas with access to experiential learning opportunities to help build confidence, cultivate curiosity and unlock their full-potential. Past Battle of the Brains events have raised over $300,000 to fund school trips for children across Canada!
